Yeah I could be wrong about the years, going off memory. Stick committed first for sure, I'm sure that factored into TC's decision. Glad we have Easton!

If I were to guess, I would say he was interested as a junior then we got Stick. He kind of just mashed it all together in that one statement. Stick committed late if memory serves

My memory of it is that NDSU offered Christion as an ATH/QB.
Stick was already a Bison, redshirting, when Christion was being recruited.
Christion played as a true freshman, so that is why he and Stick are seniors at the same time.
Stick was already considered the heir apparent as a Bison QB, so Christion made a choice to be a Jackrabbit. It was an offer to be a QB from his home state school, probably an easy choice for him. NDSU wanted him as that years’ QB recruit, with his athletic ability giving the coaching staff a choice to switch his position, if needed, to get him on the field. Rather like the former Bison QB turned LB Esley Thornton.
Christion was considered a running QB coming out of high school, with his passing a work in progress. His passing ability and it’s improvement has been quite impressive.
