Almost 4 million for 3 playoff games. That's the beauty of the playoffs. You get 9 hours on TV vs a 3 hour shitty bowl game. Just the national championship game alone had better ratings than many of the smaller bowl games. The Iowa State game was gravy

And next year we kick off the season on espn.. vs an FCS school which will get more views than Iowa State...Hopefully get another ESPN Gameday and then off to the playoffs.

    17X National Champions: 65, 68, 69, 83, 85, 86, 88, 90, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21

Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month

The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Can we taunt them with this reminding them of how this compares with teh hockies ratings? I always enjoy that.

Thing most interesting to me was that is was bigger than last year. Is that a function of UNI being better known than CCU, or that the Bison are generating a loyal following by some college football rubes that aren't from ND?

Can't hurt to play on a Saturday morning when no one is doing anything vs. a Friday night when people are probably a bit more active.
