Yeah Mom was a hoot. She used to drive up from La Crosse Wis just to watch me practice and go out for dinner. Then she would drive back and be at work at 8am.Originally Posted by MangyOldBison

Best Mom---NDSU story. Mom comes up for a football game. Brings 2 cases of beer , 2 bottles of VO, 8-10 fried chickens. 3 corned beef briskets, potato salad etc etc. We are having a party in our room 3rd floor Churchill. Its a huge room. We got at least 15-20 people in there when there is a knock on the door. Its the RA who is a dick even though hes a track jock. Want to know if there is any alcohol in the room. Mom springs in to action. She takes the RA by the arm and say---alcohol??? No alcohol in here as she puts a can of pop in his hand. She then drags him over to the food as hes looking for the booze. She puts a plate in his other hand and says you look hungry. She start loading up his plate with so much food that he now has to pay attention to what shes doing. All the while she is just jabbering away as she is leading him out the door. As he hits the door Mom says when you finish all that be sure and come back for more as she closes the door. He never knew what hit him. I bet the RA wasnt in the room for over minute. I still crack up thinking of that one.
