We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

now they are 40-50, and NDSU didn't move up to entice them.. they have kids, activities, hunting/fishing wives, etc etc now
I know nothing about oil money or lack there of. None of the people I am referencing had any connection to oil money. However, individual fan interest will ebb and flow as they go through different stages of their lives. The goal is to constantly be marketing to replace the fans whose interest is waning with new fans that are experiencing things that are new to them. It's also to make sure that the interest is still there and the environment is still exciting so that when the circumstances of their lives change they will likely re-engage. Hindsight being 20/20 things could have been done differently in the recent past. Is what it is. Focus on making the changes going forward. There's always new customers being created, you just have to keep evolving to stay relevant.
