    Default Bracketology

So the mock brackets I've been seeing had Omaha projected as the 15 seed. Honestly I haven't followed much of the bracketology up until now, because you know, never thought I would have to this year. So what's the feeling as far as seeding goes? I think NDSU can avoid the play in game if we see some upsets in the SWAC and MEAC tourney's. Can NDSU jump Iona? Do we even want a normal 16 seed or can a 16 seed play in game have it's benefits? What other conferences should we be watching closely?

16 seed no doubt. Can we avoid the play in? Who do we prefer to play as a 1? Will prolly need a couple big upsets to avoid play in.

Would a play in really be that bad? I mean it sucks to not really be on the bracket but a tournament win would be a tournament win right? That would be our best bet to get one instead of being a 16 out of the gate.

I'd prefer to see them in the play-in round actually. They get a game against a comparable team that they actually have more than a one-in-a-million chance to win and I'm pretty sure the game counts as a full tournament share so if they win that they bring home more bacon for the conference from tournament payouts from the NCAA than if they went one and done as a 16 that avoids the play-in round. It's also the only tournament game on TV at that time so it actually ups the exposure of a tournament appearance I think.

I’m hoping play-in and/or Tulsa location for selfish reasons

I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.

Play in is in Dayton and after that closest is Des Moines

1 seeds Virginia will be Columbia, SC. Duke or Unc will also be Columbia. Gonzaga will be Salt Lake or San Jose. Kentucky as a 1 I think would be Columbus Oh
