Thoughts on 2020 attendance

I think many will be surprised at the number of people with this viewpoint. With every game televised, it's not worth it. I am in a high risk group, but I'm not just thinking of me and mine. We sit next to an elderly couple who can barely make it up the stairs, and I'll be damned if I unknowingly infect them. Of course, I doubt they'll be there either.

...and that's if there are games.

So much defeatist attitude here. Guess I will wait to be disappointed if that happens. I personally think the season will happen. Most of the numbers have been over blown so far. There is at least 3 months until a decision needs to be made. Soon time to move on with some common sense.

This. I don’t buy life insurance because I expect to die and don’t wear a seat belt because I plan to crash.
I also don’t plan to pick up the virus at a football game, but am not prepared to take that chance of spreading a disease that could kill my parents.

Like expected number of deaths in US.......2,000,000 once a possibility worst case, recently predicted to be 200,000, now down to around 50,000. Also looks like the peak in cases / deaths will occur somewhat sooner than expected. Where have you been?

Taiwan is holding baseball games live. The stands are populated with cardboard cutouts. There are live players of course, umpires, even cheerleaders. But the drummers are robotic.

This would be an excellent year to get season tickets and TM membership.

Just thinking back to 7 or 8 years ago when many people were complaining about not being able to get season tickets. Once you're in, you're in.
