When did that happen?? The last time I was there, which admittedly was a few years ago, it seemed like a free for all. We went out at halftime and were slamming shots and beers. We did get eventually told we couldn't drink but no one forcefully removed us from the bus. We also got to drink while waiting for the tailgate to open up.

I was there last year, and for the NDSU lot, I don't think they did the wristband thing or anything. Of course, we had the lost filled before they even started showing up.

Well thanks, but in reality SDSU fans are far and few between here in Sioux Falls. When I do talk with a casual Jack fan I usually know more about their football players, schedule and results than they do. Kind of like Kansas, there is more interest in basketball here. What I don't appreciate is the staredown and snide remarks I get when I wear Bison shirts now and then. My reply, do you stare or comment at people wearing other college shirts? I think we are in their heads and there is a bit of envy regarding our football success.

DG does not count cuz the bunnies did not win a recruiting battle. They were his alternative choice.

I can't recall them even doing much as far as offers in ND. I know they offered Carson Wentz but I can't really even think of any others off the top of my head. To be fair, there's more D1 talent in SD than in ND so it kinda makes sense. But it's also gotta be a lot tougher for SDSU to win a recruiting battle against NDSU in ND than it is for NDSU to win a recruiting battle against SDSU in SD.

Which reminds me... hopefully someone pops these tweets up for guys like Marlette, Tuszka, Waege, etc this week.

Yeah Britton is about 10 miles south of the ND/SD border. I know one side of his parents' families (thinking it's his dad's) are from Havana, ND which is a tiny town about 500 feet north of the ND/SD border. They actually have a bar there and I heard that's where his "draft party" was last April.

Since when does "wash" mean one is better than the other. Easton played like dogshit against them the same year. Not the same as the semifinals implosion I agree but they have both had their bad showings in big games. And before people say a regular season game isn't the same thing as the semifinals, I know. But at the time it was still a big game.

Taryn and Easton are two of the best FCS QBs in the nation. Calling it a wash shouldn't get people riled up.
