FWIW, I don't have a pony in this race (recently stopped drinking alcohol for all practical purposes), but I would hate to see NDSU adopt an out-of-date stance with potential financial repercussions, particularly at a time when NDSU needs to raise as much $$ as possible.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Having beer at the dome for football games will have no affect on the “problems” that some fear. Hundreds of drunk people of varying degrees already walk in the doors from the tailgate lot, another bar or restaurant, or home. Selling some overpriced beers is not going to turn Bison football games into Sodom and Gomorrah! Its time to make this happen.
