Northern Iowa star WR Isaiah Weston leaves yesterday’s game in 2nd quarter with injury, did not return to play.

Farley later described Weston as having a “lower leg injury”.While the sophomore, who is 18-yards short of 1,000 for the season, returned to the sideline in the second half, he did not have his helmet.
"I don't know for sure (what happened), but we will find out," UNI head coach Mark Farley said.
Without Weston, UNI's offense spun its wheels for most of the second half before the Panthers managed to hold onto its 17-9 victory.
Today’s MVFC Schedule:
Saturday, Nov. 16
Missouri State at #7 Illinois State, 12 pm CT | Normal, Ill. • NBCSCH/ESPN+
Youngstown State at Indiana State, 1 pm ET | Terre Haute, Ind. • ESPN+
RV Southern Illinois at Western Illinois, 1 pm CT | Macomb, Ill. • ESPN+
#4 UNI at #8 South Dakota State, 2 pm CT | Brookings, S.D. • ESPN3
South Dakota at #1 North Dakota St., 2:30 pm CT | Fargo, N.D. • NBC ND/Midco/ESPN+
- Southern Illinois needs to take care of biz in McComb to have a chance at playoffs. WIU is 1-9 (1-5) so that is just the place for the skinny dogs to do it.
- UNI at SDSU - who ends up disappointed? If UNI wins, they are on track for a very nice seed (currently ranked 4). SDSU would then have to be worried about a season-ending tailspin with a last game In Vermillion.
If SDSU wins, they can start building back confidence and feel they have righted the ship (S.S. Stig?).
They could then look forward to a home playoff game - 15,000+ Jack supporter strong!!!
If they are not careful, they might get a bus trip to Grand Forks!
Hmm, that could lead to a looong tax season......
As mentioned elsewhere (can’t remember where)
