It is becoming more apparent in the stories about the relationship between Claeys and the administration, the administration wanted a coach they could completely control. I am thinking it is going to be very difficult to bring in anybody with that kind of culture.

This is legitimate. Would be a hell of a hire for Minnesota. Really good coach, excellent recruiter. If he goes to Minnesota and with the state of that program on the upswing with talent right now He will be gone for a top 5 job somewhere in 3-5 years.

Fleck. Is known on the recruiting trails as finding eyes for players that have legitimate talent but are often overlooked by the P5 schools for whatever reason. He could build a seriously solid stable of talent at a place like Minnesota. Could be one of the better coaches in all of college football in 7-10 years or so.

Wow, Gopherhole is a mess right now... Got to love the fans raging on Bohl and Kleiman that they aren't good enough to run a program...

When you live in a dumpster fire, you have a tough time understanding what a well run program looks like.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

its hilarious. I cheer for Minnesota at a far distant 3rd, but gopher fans have such a superiority complex about themselves. They wouldnt know a good head coach when theres been 2 viable options in their own back yard. 2 coaches that don't run the spread because it wont win you anything in the long run and play fundamental sound defense. no cute stuff. keep the local talent and actually coach them up.

lets just say the hot names laugh at coming to Minnesota knowing they can do much better. Minnesota is stuck with some shit coordinator or has been/never was run of the mill coach because its a safe hire? Itll be a waste of time for the entire program and its shitstain athletic department.

Gopher fans know, we know, the nation knows...they arent a home run destination just because of their conference affiliation. I personally think Bohl would be a fuckin killer of a hire, but hes also in his 60s but theres no doubt I think he could bring the program back to relevancy. Hes a football guy and knows the region already.

that said...Bohl to Minnesota would be a stinger for NDSU and its recruiting efforts. They feasted on the talent left behind by Kill and Brewster. Bohl would do much better at keeping the Vraas, Olsons, Zenners, Weinekes, Turners at the UofMinn
