at the end of the day Carson's biggest asset and biggest liability has been the hero complex. It unfortunately got him through the 2020 season when he was playing with trash cans. It didn't work out when he tried to avoid the safety and gave up the most embarrassing pick six of his career.
Hopefully he can settle down, get some protection, and just play football
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
name the top 5 WRS Wentz had:
1. Desean Jackson rookie year
2. Alshon Jeffrey - OLD & hurt
3. TY Hilton OLD & hurt
4. Agholor?
5. Pittman Jr
Entz was his best hook up
Mclaurin & Dotson this year might be top 1 & 2 if things pan out
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
We assume you mean Ertz, not Entz.
If Carson took the safety against the Titans a tie game goes to the Titans up 2 points with less than 2 minutes to play. The Colts would have had to punt the ball to the Titans who would have ran the clock out and ended the game. After the pick 6, Carson tied the game up in less than a minute with a spectacular play where he broke out of the pocket and steadied himself with the football on the turf and then threw a long pass to Pittman Jr. in the middle of 4 defenders. If the pass doesn't get intercepted in the end zone they probably call him for intentional grounding which results in a safety.
Carson's bad interception in that Titans game was when he forced the ball to Pittman Jr. instead of checking down to Taylor who was wide open.
In that same game Ryan Tannehill was able to get a first down by interception. He threw a pick and the Colts defender fumbled it back to the Titans when the Colts defender blew out his knee. The next play AJ Brown takes a short drag route for a 50 yard TD and the game changed.
The week after this game Matthew Stafford threw a very similar pick 6 from his end zone in the first quarter of a scoreless game. Stafford was about to be sacked and as he was getting sacked while getting spun around he threw the ball wildly without looking and it was picked for an easy TD. Instead of the NFL media ripping Stafford and making fun of him for an embarrassingly stupid interception in the first quarter of a scoreless game they made fun of Wentz's interception from the week before. Stafford's pick was much worse because a safety at that point in the game does nothing to prevent the Rams from winning the game.
Hail The Bison! The March Is Still On!
