Congratulations to Payton winning the Weight Throw with a facility record (and personal record) of 79' 1.25". What an outstanding meet! Can't wait to see what outdoor season has in store for him.

With Otterdahl's accomplishments at this weekend's NCAA INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS meet, he will surely move up the ladder on the Bowerman Watch List.

With a strong outdoor season, he most certainly could join Oregon's Laura Roessler (Fargo South) on the list of those winning the award.

Agreed. He's making a hell of a case so far for it. That would be an insane accomplishment!

New school record for Payton today.

At the Texas Relays in Austin, Otterdahl threw the discus 201' 4" on his final attempt to overtake two competitors to finish as the top collegiate.

Another new school record today. Eclipsed his 2018 outdoor SHOT PUT record by 11 inches.

    Today's new NDSU Outdoor Record throw: 69' 8 1/4".

Like I’ve said. Just incredibly impressive and athletic. His wind-up takes some serious athletic ability and timing that I hope people appreciate. We are talking world’s best here.
