NDSU scored 56 points on only 12 first downs. Interesting stats combo.

Sometimes stats do not tell the whole picture. Crazy stat though.

My boss hates it when I shorten his name to Dick, mainly because his name is Steven.

And he made the tackle. Tuszka and Jabril Cox need to watch that video.

This is a valid observation. Not 100% sure of the scheme but many times this year our best edge defenders have crashed down hard on the rb only to have the QB pull it and run outside. This has been so obvious though part of me thinks it's just part of the game plan to not let the recent opponents top RBs beat them and force the ball to the less dangerous QB.

Jefff Bentrim would have had a hay day with our current defense.

Not just Bentrim, but also Simdorn, Beachy, et al.

I have really come around on Bo Pellini, he deserves another shot in big money college football. Heck, Nebraska has circled the toilet since they fired him.
I actually like Bo too but the common complaint here in Nebraska about him is he won with the previous coach's recruits and the Huskers consistently got worse because of his poor recruiting. I highly doubt he gets another big job because of that and how hard he is to deal with. His players love him tho

worse? I'd disagree with that somewhat, but could agree he never really got them "better" either. I'd say they pretty much stayed the same throughout his tenure. He got them 9, 10 wins but never could put them over the top.

I think antics with the boosters/fans and on the field in public eye is what put the nail in his coffin at Nebraska.
