The combined records of their FCS opponents this year: 35 - 67. Ouch! Certainly a few notches higher in competition versus the Herd when the Raiders come to the Dome.

Colgate is a fine team, this Bison team is likely an all time great FCS team.

While debating NDSU’s ability to compete against high level FBS many are cracking on FCS teams as being “pud” at the same time. Not fair to C’gate or really appreciative of what NDSU is doing.

I see NDSU winning big, but not because Colgate isn’t a quality FCS team- it’s because NDSU is really clicking and has the talent/training to boot.

Like to see NDSU take care of business and finish this run so we can debate the ranking as an all time team. NDSU May make Colgate look “bad” in the way the Pats made the Vikings look bad Sunday. Doesn’t mean Colgate doesn’t belong here.

Debate to whether NDSU belongs here will continue.

Colgate is a scholarship team correct? I read that their conference allows up to 60 scholarships for football.

Colgate is better than JMU. Period. They will give the Bison a good game.

    Define "good".
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

60 scholarships - all full rides. The Patriot has really stepped things up.

That may be but this years JMU is not as good as the last 2. Period.

Yet still most do not give 60. The Patriot is still one of the worst conferences in FCS. Yes Colgate is the cream of the crop in the Patriot it's just not saying a whole lot.

I thought someone on The Insiders said the Patriot League doesn't allow redshirts which puts them at another disadvantage playing a physical team like ours.
It's OK to not be OK.

This is one of the best Bison football teams any of us will see in our lifetimes and we're greeting them with empty seats because we're "bored". I'm trying to rile up the masses here so someone tell me I'm wrong... I dare you! It truly sickens me that this team is driving fans away with how good they are...
You're wrong. You trying to "rile" up the masses by calling the fan debating whether or not to spend their money on game tickets, "Lazy" probably has the opposite effect. You're a hardcore fan, I get it. Not everyone is.
