There are 75 running backs in the transfer portal, all 3 stars or higher as high school kids. They are way more talented than Woods. That's why they got Power 5 offers to begin with. So we only get one for 2 or 3 years. Is that any different than redshirting a high school kid. Having him play 2 years and then transfer out? I mean, we have a running back on the Dallas Cowboys for christ sakes.

Williams was our leading rusher his first year as a Bison. Didnt play much early but was dominating as the season progressed.

After the last two years you could say recruiting RBs went from a slam dunk to an easy target for other programs to talk to recruits about not getting carries at NDSU.
