No Big 10 team has ever played in the CBI and Tim Miles said he doesn't want to be first.

This site says we are likely headed to the CBI

    Western Teams
The definition of a “West Bracket” really has been blown up by the fact that there really don’t seem to be all that many teams from the West Coast that are willing to be in the CBI. The Oregon State Beavers have turned down a trip to the CBI reportedly, and that finally opens up the spot for the North Dakota State Bison that we have so badly been trying to slot in for the last few days.

North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

If it is the CBI just give us a home game please...chances are we would draw a solid opponent.

The other 3 'Western' teams mentioned with us in the link I posted are Utah, Texas and Tulsa......I'd be ok with the Bison playing any of them.

I've also seen a few CBI brackets with NDSU playing Denver or Weber State.

Another thing to remember about Nebraska is that their arena is being torn apart so they can't even host a CBI game.
