Looks like all the significant ORU players, from the Summit/NCAA tournament, could be back.
Thompson, Weaver and Jurgens are sophomores, Lacis a junior.
Abmas has an interesting choice. He can stay at ORU, be the man, try and do it again. Forever be a legend at ORU. Well, with that sweet 16 run they will always remember that - so he already is...
Or he can try and make money somewhere, go through the NBA process and see what they say, go international even.
Or he can transfer to a P6 school where he thinks the NCAA chance is better combined with better NBA draft chances. Or can he have just as good NBA chances at ORU??? ORU is positioned well to get as tough a schedule as they want next preseason, so he can play against P6 teams...
They were soo close to the Elite 8......
Obanor could derail some of this by leaving, is he Robin to Abmas’ Batman?
Or does he want more???
I don’t know if this has been brought up before, but can we talk about the pronunciation of Abmas’ name?
