It's youth... I was at NDSU 94 - 99. The football team was good but not great but we supported the team. The women's basketball team was elite and I never paid attention. Now that I am old, I wish I would have paid attention because championships for your favorite team are special. A lot of kids don't realize it. Partially because they haven't necessarily developed a loyalty to one team. They follow whomever is good which is why everyone loved the Bulls when I was a kid or the Heat and Cas now...

The lack of loyalty is a generational character issue as well though. It has always existed but I think it is worse. My generation is easily more self-loving and disloyal than those above us. This is obviously a generalization with plenty of exceptions. I love seeing a little kid that pulls for a team even when they are bad. I can properly guess certain things about their character and future based on something so simple

I have zero agenda I am telling the truth everyone left at 27-3. Last week we all left at 31-10 that's what's happening. Incarnate word 28-0. It all happened sorry!

I don't see how the occasional home blowouts are so boring. As a bison fan I love watching next years guys in action. I can totally understand a student stressed out by tests and due assignments leaving at that point though

I guess my point is that this is a really really cool time to be an NDSU football fan, or any type of football fan in Fargo because it is being played well.
