I thought that as I typed the question but LJ just looks faster to me on the field.

I don't think he is, but it's nice to be able to disagree on that issue, isn't it?!

Deluca is gonna be a monster when he is unleased.

Celebrate and enjoy this Defense, it may be awhile before we see this much pure talent on the field all at one time.
I always shook my head when people, grabbing for straws, tried to say Teh Bison defense lost soooooo much and wouldn't be all that great when in reality it's next year that they loose a ton of great players. Sure there is a lot of young talent but the two safeties and three LBs plus Emanuel is a massive loss.

Tennessee State has the top ranked defense (total yards given up). I would like to see the NDSU defensive stats against this monster schedule:

    Edward Waters
    Alabama State
    Jackson State
    Tennessee Tech

Note: Illinois State is allowing fewer points per game (7.5) but if you round up it's a tie... for now. Illinois State is playing Austin Peay this week and that team has scored 13 points all season. Illinois State's non-conference schedule is diluted weak sauce.
One could make an argument that their conference schedule is diluted too.

I will say this much: losing the back 5 is going to suck. A lot. But when they unleash Stumpf, DeLuca and PGT in 2015 that's going to be a collection of ATHLETES that will rival even what we have now. Oh and Chris Board is going to be a star.
Now this is the law of the prairie
As old and as true as the sky
And the Bison that keep it will prosper
And the Bison that break it will die
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk
This law is the final word:
For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.

Did scheels ever have any of the senior defence jersey's ortt just Vraa and Crockett? Can't imagine 52,53,20,35,38, or 9 staying on shelves for long. Seems to me they used to do number one and seniors for jerseys at scheels. Saw 11 jerseys in kids section.

    Lardsin must go!
