Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month
The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Nothing really really says what he has given to NDSU. A true professional and Bison
@DomIzzoWDAY: Impressive video put together by @NDSURyanNelson and staff on outgoing AD Gene Taylor: https://t.co/1AQ6rJ13ns

The accomplishments of Gene Taylor are too many to list. His biggest was steering the ship of NDSU through DI waters. The success of Bison athletics while he was here was a direct result of his decisions. From coaching hires, games scheduled, the vison and leadership; what can you say. There might not be another AD that does what Gene did. But, like has been said with coaches that have left, the program that is NDSU athletics will move forward; set by the foundation of those who came before. Best of luck to Gene at Iowa. I hope he accomplishes his goal one day and becomes an AD at a big time BCS school. Best attribute about Gene Taylor was that UND fans hated him; so he must have been doing something right. Bison Pride!!

http://www.inforum.com/content/ndsu-...football-gamesThe two schools announced an agreement on Friday that will see UND coming to the Fargodome in 2015 and 2019. It had been in the discussion stages for several years, said NDSU interim athletic director Prakash Mathew, with all the legwork on NDSU’s end being done by former athletic director Gene Taylor.
“I’m happy Gene’s efforts have come to fruition,” Mathew said. “This is not something where Prakash Mathew came in and said play the game.”
And yes, thanks Gene Taylor, if the game was to be played, the first 2 games being in Fargo was the way to go.
