The FD is nice for High School Championship games too. I don't even watch when they play in gf. It's a championship game play where the champs play not where a crappy big sky team plays!

Lardsin must go!
Maybe we can just raise the roof.......
This goes back to money. If you were an accountant and looking at the cost/benefit analysis, what would you think?
$50-100 million for a stadium.
$20 million increase in budget, every year.
Increased travel budget
Take those cost outlays and look at the possible revenues mitigated by fewer home games.
How long would it take to recoup that? Remember how hard it was to raise the money for the SHAC?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
An outdoor stadium is a retarded idea. 1) the dome is an awesome home field advantage. Outdoor stadiums simply aren't as loud. 2) Many of the avid noise making fans in dome playoff games wouldn't be interested in sitting outside in Dec and Jan games and I can't blame them. 3) Believe it or not the dome is a good recruiting tool. I've spoken with former NDSU players who came largely because they had always wanted to play ball in a dome. Domes are expensive but If we are going to pay for a new stadium we might as well do it right.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.
