The crowd was really good today, and it was definitely louder than last week. The dome is obviously louder than Montana's similarly sized open-air stadium... You'd have to be a mental midget not to understand why this claim is preposterous. The simple reality is that Coastal Carolina just found out that they suck. Have sympathy for them... Nobody wants to ever have to come to grips with that sort of reality about themselves.

Crowds like to base their success on false starts and time outs. But if you ask an offensive lineman why noise makes a difference, it's because it takes away the advantage of hearing the snap count. The defensive line gets off a split-second faster then if there wasn't crowd noise. Sometimes that's the difference between a pass and a sack, or a first-down and a fourth-down.
