Congrats to the Bunnies. They really played a very good game - out-rebounding NDSU and shooting 21 for 23 at the FT line were the keys, along with Nate Wolters.

I think Saul coached a very good game and thought the players carried themselves pretty well. That said, the fellas had just enough breakdowns to let this one slip away. There weren't many, but SDSU made us pay.

Love our players. Love our coach. I'm firing up the bandwagon next year and rolling into Sioux Falls.

With what we have coming back next year, anything short of a sweet 16 will be considered a failure of a season. Fire X, save Y.

Nothing to be ashamed of tonight. SDSU executed better. The Bison did a good job shutting down Wolters but he generated for other players and they finished. He then scored when he had to. Very impressive effort by him. When Taylor played the Bison were as good as anyone. Very few second chance points tonight but otherwise I liked the effort. Sometimes the other team just plays better.

Good luck next year to Saul and the team.

Not sure I watch the same game as you Tony, but Saul didn't do a very good job of coaching! They play really reckless, not really in a offense set, a lot of one on one. And the bad slots they threw up is really something.

I will agree to a point. He has left brown in there too much this year and that has caused two serious problems on offense. One teams quickly double off of browns man onto Bjourkland. two browns defender sags into the lane and prevents people like LA and Braun from driving. Once they brought Felt into the game in the second we made our run and why was that. It was mainly because they couldn't double anymore since we had shooters all over and this also opened the whole floor to make drives to the basket easier. This is the way most college teams play offense these days.
    If it flies it dies.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

I feel pretty fine about what this team accomplished. We needed a near perfect performance if we wanted to win and it didn't happen.

I'm uneasy about the missed opportunity. One game for all the marbles and we came up short. Yeah, theres always next year but so many things can trip you up. All we can do is move on but a little mourning is understandable.

Very proud of the boys. Jacks just played better. That Wolters three was a dagger.
