When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
You don't give out trophies for losing. Trophies for sucking. That's a communist idea. You don't get a trophy for losing. You get a piece of pizza and you shut up. Trophies for losing? What the hell happened to us?

I think 63 may have been giving 10 the business, driving him after the play and pushing off him while getting up. Should have been off setting penalties.
Anyway, congrats to the Bison on overcoming a weak start and becoming one of the most improved teams in the FCS. Looks like UNI and SIU are going to have to work a little harder to keep the interlopers away from the MVC trophy.

OK--this is my last post on this thread--or at least I am hoping it is. We got jobbed by the refs on these 3 key plays, there is really no disputing that, but the effin game is over. What Bison fans need to take away from this game and the other two playoff games is the feelings and emotions of being in the playoffs. I think all would agree that those feelings and emotions were WAY different than what we experienced in regular season games. Having played in roughly a dozen or so playoff games 4 the Bison is what drives me to be so intense and, at times, emotional (angry, upset, etc.) during the regular season, and is likely what drove me to post some very critical thoughts about some of our coaches and players during the regular season. We HAVE to be successful in the regular season to make the playoffs and set ourselves up for home and other playoff games and the accompanying fun/blast the comes with being in the playoffs. Regular season games just don't compare to playoff games, and I think many of you who never experienced them as a fan or player in the 80's and early 90's now understand what Bison Football in the playoffs is all about. There is nothing else like it if you are a Bison fan--there just isn't
Go Bison!

Great Post ! I hope some understand now what the heck some of us have been talking about for the last 20 some odd years, players and fans alike. The Bison should be competing for the National Championship year in and year out, loosing should never be tolerated at NDSU. I hope we have finally turned the corner, 3 playoff games this year will do nothing but help in fan intrest, recruiting and attendance next year. I predicted 2012 for the title game, 2011 is definetely a possibility. If these guys continue to play as a team look out. The EWU loss is a hard pill to swallow, but at least playoff football has returned to NDSU and should stay there for good. Work hard on the offseason Bison and you will reap the rewards !!

Yeah, NDSU gets beat in the playoffs by the refs and a team with 3000 fans at their 6000 seat stadium. Will be the same this week regardless if at East Wash or Villanova. Yeah, FCS is the big time (extreme sarcasm).
It will look just like an NAIA, DII or DIII game on ESPN. What a joke.
YES< FCS is a joke, SD.
4000 fans in EWU made me freakin puke.
Montana, Montana State, NDSU, UNI (maybe) should be looking as a 4 PACk to join a FBS conference, now.
