I wouldn't be surprised to see this aberdeen kid end up with NDSU.

Their were 4 ranked kickers in SD this year: 1 signed with USD and the 2 others signed with SDSU (one as a punter). The one remaining is Evan Nolte who had interest from SDSU.

I wouldn't be surprised either if NDSU just goes with Janstram as their kickers.

If you look at these rankings. They have Wesley the number one rated all-purpose back in the nation.

Not sure how this kid fell through the cracks. The only thing I can tell is he played behind a kid that went to TCU as a junior and he played for a team that was 1-9 with some recruiting issues(previous coaching staff let go)

    Can this even be right??

i am guessing we will get a preferred walk-on as our kicker and that guy will get a chance to earn a scholly later on. preferred walk-ons arent named til signing day

The kid looks like a heck of an athlete, he should be able to play somewhere no doubt. Especially since he has the same speed as Chris Johnson and Joey Galloway. But, as Sioux fans have been told continuously, the best way to evaluate the talent of a prospect is to look at who else offered. Did he have any other offers to use as a comparison?

I agree, no way he is a 4.3..but he did run a 4.51 last spring and a low 11 second 100m so he is fast. I would guess in the 4.4 range somewhere.

Not sure on other offers. But to be ranked that high says something for his athletic ability. Maybe he's not a great FB player?? Who knows..but an athlete non the less...

I agree the kid looks great on paper but 1+1 doesn't seem to add up to 2. He has great measurables but a 4.3 probably not. I saw one article that said a offer from NAU and I think the other was Stoneybrook.

There is no doubt that he is a great athlete. He doesn’t need to run those ridiculous numbers to be effective at the FCS level, a 4.5-4.6 with vision will do just fine. UND has a kid from CA coming in that ended up in a similar situation to this kid.
