2010 Recruiting

The strength coaches do an excellent job with players that the coaches determine need to bulk up and add a little extra weight. The make sure that the players are not only putting on weight but are putting it on the right way. Joe was an excellent example of this.

however there have been a few recently that didn't seem to put on the weight necessary and they are gone now

I got introduced to Fred Jackson at the ndsu game friday night (DJ and Warren were his guides) seemed like a really personable kid, not a big kid at all, he was enjoying the game friday night and was really impressed with the players and coaches. I can see this kid coming here, keep the fingers crossed!!

according to Rivals as of 1 minute ago he still only holds offers from Navy and NDSU!!

Yeah I know......just had to rub it in a bit. So the Bison have lost about 5 guys they offered so far? Not too bad.
Question for the bunnies.....what happens if most of the top guys you think you have a shot at verbal elsewhere? Could make waiting so late to start recruiting really painful. But Stig is the man, how could that happen.

Thats a good question you ask at the end. I wonder what Stig will say if they lose all the top ones. I saw a FB they offered commited to Illinois. Big guy, weighed like 260 lbs.

According to Hallstrom's blog it sounds like Jackson enjoyed his visit but wants to stay closer to home and is waiting to see what other offers may come in before signing day.

Come on Fred. Be the next Craig Dahl or Nick Schommer. Dominate in the MVFC and get a shot at the league.
