I would bet but I don't know that they will hire the D coordinator and let him have a major input into the linebacker coach.

Perles went to Ball State as the Offensive Coordinator. Don't know how long he was there before getting the KC Chiefs job.
Garza went to New Mexico as the Defensive Backs coach. I don't believe he was there very long and then took the job at Tennessee.
Too much of a turnstile of coaches at NDSU right now. NDSU has to get some great coaches and keep them long enough for a good mentor to develop within the program to replace them. Searching and hiring outside of NDSU brings in too many options and unknowns and is not good for program stability.
How does Montana, UNI and Appy do it? I don't think any of those programs have had near as many coaching departures in the past several years.
NO NO NO Charlie knows Rob Ianolla from AKRON, he's going there to be with him.
I also have a pretty big birdy in my ear about the NEW NDSU Def Coord and LB coach. Im kinda curious about this, its odd for sure!
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"
When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
You don't give out trophies for losing. Trophies for sucking. That's a communist idea. You don't get a trophy for losing. You get a piece of pizza and you shut up. Trophies for losing? What the hell happened to us?

All this coordinator and assistant coach turnover really reminds me of the vikings and lakes personal hero.... denny green...... the coordinators and assistants kept coming and going and the blame was put on them...... until finally the axe came down....
TRUST THE PROCESS
Montana hired Hauck (a former player)...with allegiance to the school & program. Not sure about the rest of the staff, but I'll guess that they have several former players around.
IMO...you get stability by finding someone that loves the program, the school, and the area.
App. St. has a 21-year head coach that didn't do very well for a while. He's from down south somewhere, but he's hung in there.
If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.
Here is a long shot for you guys, how about Todd Wash as DC? Not sure the money would be enough to lure him back from the NFL.
