Dear Santa Claus, please bring the Bison some linebackers!

The last two recruiting classes have included only 2 scholarship linebackers: Preston Evans and Brandon Jemison. Isaac Kolstad has been converted from safety. Eddie Beson, now in his third year in the program, was apparently given a medical hardship and he is listed as a redshirt freshman. He could be a huge help if he is ever healthy enough to play. Those 4 plus Matt Anderson and several walk-ons will be the returning linebackers next season.

Yeah, need some linebackers! That transfer from Colorado was supposed to be an outside linebacker. Of course, Grothman and Vaadeland could easily play linebacker.

From what I understand, this kid is being looked at by NDSU. He had a REALLY BAD knee injury last year. He is back healthy and doing very well. He was a complete beast that was getting major looks prior to the knee injury. He would have been a much higher recruit, so we may sneak in and get a linebacker like this. Which we need!
