    He was still an FCS QB with that type of description. Brandon Jacobs was an Auburn transfer, but does that make him any less of a Saluki?

    If badmouthing NDSU and taking recruits on tour of the hockey arena is their strategy, it's probably time to go to Plan B: A quasi-hysterical editorial in the GFH decrying NDSU's recruiting and then some legislative noise over gosh knows what.

    ++

    At some point, though, you have to think that even the Herald and the legislature might catch on to the pattern.

    That's not the point, he chose FBS first. When it was apparent that he wasn't going to start for Pitt, dropping down a level to FCS in order to play immediately instead of sitting out a year was the logical choice to make regardless of what team he wanted to play for. I think what the Jack fan was saying is that you rarely see 6'6" QB's with talent like Flacco commit to a non-FBS team right out of high school, and there is a lot of truth in that.

    Per SuperFan and WDAY, I added Adam Schueller to the Verbal list.

    yeah, we are tied for 107th as a team with UC Davis. I didnt see any other FCS team above us unless I missed it.

    Changed Jesse Hinz from OL to DT (was just guessing about the position).

    Interesting. In this article, it says he was recruited to play OL.

    While Hinz was recruited as an offensive lineman by North Dakota State, Sexton said he’s as good or better as a defensive lineman at the high school level..

    While Hinz was recruited as a guard or center, he said coaches told him he could also be a tackle.
