I agree, with the exception that I'd like to see a cornerback, also. The Bison brought in one CB last year (the Miller kid from Muskegon, MI) and he left the team due to homesickness. Virtually all of the DBs recruited the past couple of years sound more like safeties than true corners. Will there be any cornerbacks who aren't juniors (Colvin, Banks, Gatlin?) or seniors (Bowman, Mitchell) this year? If it turns out that Daniel Eaves, or Kevin Jackson, or Jordan Osborne (for example) can be an answer at CB, I'll feel better.

How many more scholarships are still available? It seems we have a lot of verbals.
I am surprised too. The Orange County Register had earlier reported he had offers from NDSU and UND and interest from Cal Poly and others. When I read that he was interested in majoring in engineering I thought that Cal Poly had a real shot at landing him. Congrats to the Bison, he looks like a great WR.

He was an All-District 1st Team his Sr. Year, 2nd Team Jr. Year...this past season had 54 receptions for 654 yards and 9 TD's, 9 Rushes for 121 yards and a TD...

He lead the team with 54 receptions, number two on the team had 7! Just looking at the team stats, I would say they had a bit of a QB problem...just over a 41% Comp. %...

I would say a very soild pickup...

While many thought that District 20-5A would come down to HISD’s Madison and Lamar for the title, it was a hungry Westside team that spoiled that plan. In a Week 9 match up, the Wolves slipped by Madison 28-27. One of the top players on the Wolves team is wide receiver Kevin Brooks, who is the primary target.

He was the 79 rated player in the greater houston area.

    The nine rated WR

The population of the greater houston area is 5.6 million..

His coach said he is a definite div 1 prospect....had interest(no offer) from tennesee, fresno state and so miss..

How does this class as of right now, stack up against our competition and their classes ? UNI, SIU, SDSU, UND, USD ?
