But, perhaps he's grown up and wants to finish in college career on a positive note and just needs a place to do it.
When he came in and relieved Tate he did a great job. I was really impressed.
The next year he was making rookies mistakes and tried too hard to make things happen. But I figured he got his year of seasoning under his belt and Iowas O-line was terrible because of injuires.
This last year he was making the same rookie mistakes.
I just dont know about him because of past performance.
I know all about his HS stuff behind walker etc but that doesnt equate to anything on a bigger stage. Look at Mertens.
But like I said before--who knows---may be a different level of competition and coaching staff-system may prove beneficial for him.
But Ive seen him play alot and thats why Im gun shy on him.

Here is something a tad OT but has a connection to Christinson and shows what a small world it truely is.
My hunting fishing buddy from Prior lake was over in Wis deer hunting after the MN season. Jakes dad Jeff was a guest at the deer camp he was at. Of course during the course of the time spent in deer camp Jeff talked quite a bit about his son Jake at Iowa and was complaining about the situation with his son etc. PL

Milwaukee Washington linebacker Nicholas Hill (6-2, 210) has verbally committed to attend the University of Wisconsin as a preferred walk-on.

He held offers from NDSU and UND.

Interesting, but more interesting is he at one point verballed to Iowa State. I wonder if he chose the Bison for the chance to play them??

Leevon Perry (St.Paul, MN): As we told you about a month ago, Leevon is essentially Iowa State's second commit as long as his grades are okay. The defensive lineman told me that he is doing very well in his summer classes and that he feels he did well on the ACT which he took on June 16th. He says that he doesn't talk to any other schools and that he fully plans to attend Iowa State in the fall of 2009
