Well, heck, I took a visit to UND - I'd think that the visits during recruiting are kind of fun.

I just realized that my post made it sound like I was speaking from experience as a recruited athlete - the only thing I got recruited for was academics and high test scores but still had fun taking road trips to visit campuses. I figure a recruited athlete must have even more fun.

Tony, Thank you for bringing back some interesting memories. Wow, did I really do those things?

I was 17 when I went on my first recruiting visit. That visit opened doors to things I had never dreamed of. Needless to say after the first one it was like eating peanuts and it was hard to stop.
I think they have toned that down since the Colorado debacle.

The Bison Media Blog has reported that Ryan Drevlow of Milnor-North Sargent has committed to NDSU. I believe that he is the first North Dakota recruit.

Don't tell Lakes! He is going to be pissed that Bohl recruited a Class B athlete.

In all seriousness, this kid looks like a good pick-up.

He's a beast. I played against him, flys all over the field to make plays. VERY STRONG!! he wasn't 9-man class B, he was 11-man class B.. 11 man guy. Grothman is 9-man.

A lot of 11 man teams in ND are class B schools, Cavalier, Langdon, ect. I'm sure he's a player or Bohl and his staff wouldn't have gone after him. Lakes can just deal with it.
