My fault again, it appears I am doing my best to confuse myself and others....I was trying to help and confused everyone. Long story short, it sucks we lost him to anyone....but this lineman from Michigan looks fantastic. Plus, I love that he is joining his team mate to come to Fargo. I hope they love it.

Ya, what the hell were you thinking? j/k

This is shaping up to be a great class, granted many of them won't play for a few years but it's very encouraging.

Xerxes Griffin, 6'2 290 on Rivals. Not much else on him that I could find.

All of the suspense, if there is any left, will be cleared up within 24 hours.

Not really better. NDSU laid the smack down on the MAC champs.

As long as none of our opponents have a player named Leonidas, he should be a great assest.

(Seriously, who names their child after an ancient Persian ruler? With that last name, he sounds like he could be the punchline in a Family Guy joke.)

The Bison could always look to stay with the Old Norse Gods. I do recall a certain...

    Thor, god of thunder!

*the ffd shall be Valhalla... the nat'l title game shall be Ragnarøk... mere mortals on the team shall be the Einherjar...

    From Kolpack(BMB):

    18 new faces

It appears this is what will roll through the fax machine tomorrow at the BSA. Pleasant surprise with late addition of Landingham from Michigan -- very strong prep credentials such as being named to the Detroit Free Press "All State Dream Team Offense." He's a teammate of Bobby Miller at Muskegon, so I imagine that had some impact on his decision. Muskegon has a great program winning the D-II state championship last year.
Bohl said NDSU hit the southern California JC's hard and I wasn't sure what he meant. He must have meant Griffin, who was eighth on his team in tackles with 25, but tied for the team lead in tackles for lost yardage with 5.5. He also led the team with three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. The kid must be able to hit.

We'll see what tomorrow will bring:

    North Dakota
-Josh Horner, 5-8, 185, RB, Fargo South
-Austin Vetter, 6-3, 215, TE, Minot Ryan

    Minnesota
    -Hakeem Bourne-McFarlane, 6-2, 200, WR, Bloomington Kennedy
-Dan Offerman, 6-3, 265, DE, Roseville
    -Joe Lund, 6-2, 275, C, Bloomington Kennedy
    -Isaac Kolstad, 6-1, 180, S, Mankato East
    -Jason Obarski, 6-0, 190, P, Apple Valley

    South Dakota
-Preston Evans, 5-11, 215, LB, Sioux Falls Roosevelt

    Wisconsin
-Greg Reid, 6-3, 243, LB, Milwaukee King
    -Ricky Hagen, 6-3, 240, LB-TE, Colfax
-J.J. Manowske, 6-3, 300, OL, Fon du Lac

    Michigan
    -Kevin Jackson, 6-0, 181, S, East Kentwood
-Bobby Miller, 5-11, 171, CB, Muskegon
-Carlin Landingham, 6-3, 295, OL, Muskegon

    California
-Jose Mohler, 6-1, 185, QB, Carlsbad La Costa Canyon
-Yuen Taufetee, 6-2, 285, DT, Butte Community College
-Xerxes Griffin, 6-2, 295, DL, College of the Desert

    Texas
-Jordan Osborne, 5-11, 185, FS, Woodlands
