Looks like Bisonhusker was correct about a kid with "long hair" from California coming to NDSU....I will have to find my post from last week....and then you guys can give me some rep points....Ha. I am really glad we got this kid.

What about losing that kid to being a walk on at Illinois? He was one of my favorites from this class. But, getting this california kid (instant crowd favorite), will eliminate the sting.

In the comments section of the Bison Media Blog, a poster from Bismarck claims that the rumor in Bis-Man is that Bismarck Century QB Zach Wentz has verballed to NDSU. Since I don't see him anywhere on the first page, does anyone know how good this kid is, or is this just wishful thinking from BCHS fans?

Similar rumors have been posted on NorthDakotaPreps.com the past few days. It sounds like he may be a walk-on.

I saw Wentz play against South in the FargoDome. He is easily the best HS quarterback I saw this year in ND/NW MN. 6'2" 205 lb. He throws a very nice ball. He was coming back from an ACL injury this year. He is also an outstanding baseball player. I have been hoping that the Bison would give this kid a shot. I think he could be a a very good quarterback in time.

I just saw on the WDAY sports that Lawson de-committed to UNI....not to walk on at Illinois. That is not good. Hallstrom also said that they are still looking for a D-Lineman.....I just can't wait to see the Long hair chasing the quarterback all over the Fargodome turf!!

yea. chicagosports.com said he was going to walk on at illinois, or goto No. Illinois or NDSU.

I still think there's a kid outta chicago that NDSU has waiting to surprise us!!

Burgundy, I'm confused. When you say "that is not good", what do you mean? Not good for UNI? Not to walk on at Illinois....then where is he going? Does this impact us at all...I'm probably just having a brain cramp.

no i am quite confused myself
