I think from what I understand, the 156 on rivals is probably his weight from before his Junior year. Regardless, he will more than likely (hopefully) redshirt and easily be up to ideal weight when his number is called. I like what I see. This class is just getting better and better. These last two defensive players are unreal.

3 two star players on defense. Love it.

2 star on rivals had an offer from Army according to the site. Alot of interest from other schools. Army was the only listed offer.
6'0 185 with a 3.7 GPA. His stats showed only 4 games last year with 52 tackles and 2 interceptions.

According to my math, that is the third 2 star kid of this class. Pretty salty.
The stats on the Woodlands High website didn't say how many games he played, but said he had 60 unassisted tackles along with 22 assisted tackles. The team went 3-8 for the year. The 60 unassisted tackles were a team high by quite a bit. The next closest was 36.

The defensive players on this team seem to have lots of potential. Bohl said he wanted to recruit players this year that could run to the ball, looks like he has 'em.

2 star on Rivals, not even listed however on Scout.com. I wish the Rivals site listed his 40 time.

I think Jordan broke an arm early in the year and that probably didn't help him get more offers.

Brian Lawson looks like a steal although he has had his own injury problems. He hurt his shoulder at Nike camp and his knee was bad enough that it has delayed his wrestling season. One of the scouting reports said that a kick returner had broken free and Lawson ran him down.

Oh well, at this point, I'm more pumped about last year's class since they're the ones we'll be seeing next year, but I think this year's Baby Bison should be pretty good.

The forum said this QB won a longball competition for QB at the Nebraska camp last year..... threw it over 70 yards. That's a hell of a toss.

We have 12 scholarships. I don't think any in this group are walk-ons, but some are definitely sharing scholarships.

Agreed. Coulter, Johnson, McNorton, Holloway, Eaves, Beson, Danilkowicz (sp?), just to name a few off the top of my head. Looking forward to seeing some contribution on the field.

16 verbals and still 50-50 on Richardson from NDSCS

AND Nathaniel Williams, DE/DT, 6'2, 270, New Haven, MI. Level of interest: coming for a visit. michiganpreps.com
this dude wants NDSU as well. and I'm pretty sure we offerred him.

Can we have 18 kids coming in with only 12 scholarships??

start speculating, but its DIVISION 1 now, and I got a feeling some Fresh/Soph's aren't cutting the mustard and are gonna lose a full ride to a half, or just be cut all together. Don't cha think??

I agree. It's inevitible in any program that some people lose scholarships. It's only fair that if you can't produce, and your scholarship is based on said production, it's time for somebody else to try. Just like I would've lost my academic scholarships if my grades slipped.
