Will probably be saying the same thing about Hayes next year.

Tv heads said there were 4 Nfl scouts at the game, presumeably to watch Bryce Lance.. No doubt they had to be impressed by both Lance & Payton.

Started listening to Hack City FCS podcast. Pretty entertaining FCS coverage. At just before the 7 minute mark they start talking about the USD game and have hilarious commentary on Cole Payton’s bruising run where he ran over a couple defenders.

.............and I wish he would stop doing that. Haven't these kids played baseball? Have they forgotten how to slide safely? Wasn't his injury last year due to a bum shoulder?

Ive followed them for a couple years now, their coverage always seems less informed than message board dwellers to me.

Listening to izzo or sam herder or zack mckinnel is easy, but I just cringe a little listening to their show.

Easier to slide safely in baseball because it's on dirt not artificial turf, and there is very little risk of having a guy running full speed into your upper body, shoulder or helmet first.

Tony, I beg to differ. Turf is easier to slide on than dirt (less friction.....that's why players slide 4 feet further on turf and past the bag on occassion). Last part of your post confuses me..........are you advocating going down to avoid a collusion (works for Mahomes).
