He had to throw around a defender’s hand, so that is why it was behind the receiver. He could have maybe thrown it earlier, but he couldn’t really have thrown it to the left anymore without having it get batted down.

Much like last time we saw him, Carson looks far better than a lot of qbs starting in the league.

It seems like he is still learning the receivers and what they are going to do on the choice routes. He is double clutching when he thinks they are going to do one thing and they do the other. It is better to eat it than to turn it over. Especially with how the defense is dominating.

Well he’s back to holding the ball forever and refusing to throw it away to live another down.
