I get it's hard to schedule non-conf games, but after all of the talk last two seasons this one is really bad.

I really don't understand why we don't search out more same season Home and Home series like we did with SJSU a couple years ago. There's plenty of other mid-major schools having the same problem, call them up say he we'll come play you this date, you come back and play this date and each team gets a home game. Take one of those and get a couple alternating home and home games each season and you have a schedule, it's getting to the point that buying season tickets isn't even worth it, I'll just start showing up when conference play starts.

Teams participating in the Sun Bowl Basketball Tournament:

    Norfolk State Spartans
    North Dakota State Bison
    UC Irvine Anteaters
    UTEP Miners
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

I don't get Dave wanting to rack up "easy wins" as a Summit league team.
The only way your going to the big dance is if you win the conference...period. Unless maybe you only lost 1 game all year, and then lose the title game.

So why not play some tough teams early on to get some valuable experience and make the team understand tough competition.
