One point that they made was that the non-conference schedules are going to be insane so I went and checked what the future membership has for non-conference (home games in bold)

UTEP: Nebraska, Tennessee, Colorado State, Southern Utah
Nevada: SMU, Minnesota, Troy, Georgia Southern, Oregon State
UNLV: Houston, Utah Tech, Kansas, Syracuse
SJSU: Sacramento State, Kennesaw State, Washington State, Stanford
New Mexico: Montana State, Arizona, Auburn

I stopped there. Make of it what you will. Definitely an upgrade in competition though.

Fingers crossed! My gut is this is happening, but who knows. There are a lot of potential explanations and outcomes.

His change in demeanor from subject to subject also makes it fairly obvious imo.

I suppose its a tremendous prospect for him personally.. if it works out on the projected time table his next contract is probably for $1m/yr or something in that neighborhood.

That one could go either way for me.
I think we're close, but less convinced TP knows and tipped his hand after watching it.

It is possible we are one of 2 or 3 candidates under discussion by MW. The recent quasi denial by Gloria was interesting. She essentially said the press/media reports were inaccurate.
