True, bowl games are becoming a joke even in FBS really. It's now seen as an exhibition where half the players and coaches have already checked out and are jumping to their next team. The CFP is mostly what matters. Unfortunately the G6 have only one slot across 6 conferences, and it looks like that is in jeopardy too. If it remains, PAC may lock it up most years.
Regular season games is where the meat is, and 8 of those games are conference games. Which is why it is important to me to land in the best conference possible. I would hold my nose and try to bear it in MAC for a few years in hopes of moving elsewhere. Would not really want to be stuck there a decade though.
Yes yes, *technically* the rules would permit CUSA to place 3 teams in over the SEC and B1G.
Everyone knows there's a snowballs chance in hell of that happening. The system is stacked to make it impossible in practice. It is designed to allow the G6 to have one token spot for now, and everyone acknowledges that.

208 Indiana State AA = 41.92
224 Murray State AA = 39.56
Here’s the bottom 5 of CUSA:

Which MVFC teams would you put money on to beat which CUSA teams?
Kennesaw just beat Liberty last night… I don’t know that I’d take anyone right now…
