I will say I’m not very impressed with Jay’s tweet this morning. Multiple group chats with everyone that I know that’s in the collective saying they plan on stopping their G&G contributions unless it turns out that he was right.

If they were contributing before the tweet this strikes me as quite an over reaction. But it’s their money they can not give it to whoever they please.

Maybe, maybe not but I agree with the frustration that his MO is touting access and insider info and then appears to be trolling everyone with fake insider info

Good to see that nobody is falling for the "NDSU and SDSU to the Pac-12" satire stuff that is all over twitter right now.

NDSU and SDSU were proposed by the guy that originally broke the story.

I’m pretty sure his motivation is helping the program. Seems like it took a fair bit of convincing for him to take on this role in the first place. Perhaps folks should be a bit more charitable in their characterizations.

Feel free to point out where I’ve said anything incorrect or unfair. I’ve been very complimentary and thankful for the job he does and the work he’s done to this point. It’s an unfortunate situation that hopefully resolves itself with an official announcement in the coming days.

As you said people are free to spend their money how they wish unfortunately. My point is that in my limited circles there’s considerable frustration, I genuinely hope that’s not widespread.

Didn’t he say his motto is act like your FBS and you will eventually be FBS? Isn’t that what he’s doing? This would be a lame reason to pull your support. Looks to me like most of the complainers on twitter are from the hockey school

either way i'm looking forward to a possible home/away with the Duquesne Dukes. Lets get that scheduled and not worry about any FBS possibilities.That would be marvelous.
