More of a traditional big, can shoot it from outside a little but much better as a back to the basket guy.
And NDSU now officially with an offer on the table:

Penn State offers Tommy Ahneman
Iowa offers Tommy Ahneman today.
Iowa also offers Alexandria’s Chase Thompson:

Thompson is also one of Minnesota’s top QB’s, so will have even more choices. His older brother played basketball for the Gophers, but did transfer out.
Tommy Ahneman is given a 4* rating and rated as the 50th best 2025 prospect (10th best center) in the nation by On3.com: https://www.on3.com/news/spring-live...anking-update/
Reminder: NDSU was the 8th D1 school to offer him (and now he's got over 10 offers I believe).
The optimist in me wants to think that Coach Richman long ago, say late fr - early sophomore year, had told Tommy that he had a place with the Bison. Also, if you wish to announce your offer go ahead. But, given your parents are both Bison royals we (NDSU) totally understand your looking to see what else might happen with other schools…
Buuut I am normally an optimistic person…
