I dont see Cowboys using Zeke a lot. Zeke is not what he was after he got his big 1st contract. Hunter Luepke will have a bigger role.

Zeke is their 1-A back. Obviously not a work horse anymore, but still. Hopefully Luepke can carve out a bigger role.

Recruiting and drafting are all educated guesses with a lot of potential people in the pool. There are diamonds in the rough of both groups every year so it never surprises me if someone isn't drafted or highly recruited and turns into a stud. Or the opposite of that happens. So many factors that create the right opportunity for someone. Just look at Trey Lance and Brock Purdy as great examples. Trey may very well still be a better QB, but the circumstances and results ultimately favored Brock. There is an element of luck involved there.

Played the entire first drive with Cooper Rush and the 1s and 2s. Got the ball cap treatment after that drive along with the rest of the starters and roster locks.
