I know it isn't the AAC...but here is NDSU's chance, four teams set to leave the Mountain West for the Pac-12, as of the 2026-27 season. If AD ML isn't on the phone this morning (if he hasn't been already), at LEAST making an effort to inquire about a possible transition, then I don't know if he ever will.

If he isn't even on the phone AT LEAST inquiring about a possible move, dude should not be our AD anymore, period. It would be simple incompetence.

Exactly. Like I posted on the FBS thread. He should be at least looking into the possibility. If it can't happen so be it, but at least make a damn effort and do his due diligence.

Matt Larson? This is on David Cook and he needs to make it happen.

I love how some of you just assume he isn’t doing this. I am sure he is. Telling a conference you are interested is one thing, but means very little. They have to want you. I hope the interest for NDSU is there!

Unless the Mountain West goes after some of the Texas schools (which there have already been rumblings about, apparently)...North Texas, Rice, UT San Antonio, UTEP. If any of those leave, that could result in a further trickle down effect that could open up spots in the American.
