I just can't see NDSU jumping without SDSU but I won't complain if they do. Seems pretty obvious reading the tea leaves that the XDSUs were positioning for the MWC. I wouldn't write that off just yet myself, even though some on here are eager to do so

I’ve heard it directly from up high in the athletic department that multiple times (SDSU’s failed leaving for the PAC being the latest) that we were on the cusp of being admitted to the MW (probably football only). This latest time being the closest but there was another time 3ish years ago where it almost went through.
They’re working on it, and it’s not much of a secret if they were willing to tell me lol
Mountain West, hope for the best.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

If true, if NDSU didn't do what was necessary then head's need to roll unless there is a very good reason given. I'm not suggesting the school failed but if they did, this can't stand.
If the school thinks the G5 is gonna fall apart, then I also think heads should roll. The new playoff deal will probably keep them invested.
