We need a football only facility with at least 30k capacity. We also need to move up.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

I quite honestly think the best move forward is an entirely new stadium.

I watched that FARGODOME Reimagined video. It is 16 minutes long and well worth it to watch. Anyway there was someone on there, maybe from the FARGODOME Authority but he addressed the question of tearing the DOME down and starting over. Obviously he said no, it would be double or triple cost to build a new stadium but almost as important, he said the DOME is really something that can be renovated. in generally solid shape, and why tear it down? I don't know construction costs like you men types do but I would assume there would be enormous demolition costs, too. And I am a HUGE fan of the pretty detailed brickwork that is in some areas of the DOME. Why throw the baby out with the bathwater? Work with what we have. All of us here are NDSU grads and the DOME means a lot to us even if when we went to NDSU (or A.C. for some of you) we watched the Bison at Dacotah Field.
Disagree. We just had 7900 at a playoff game and 2nd round games, semis and quarters have averaged 13,000. That looks pretty bad in a 30k seat stadium. Have had 2 sellouts in 3 years. We need the upgrades so we can get back tp 19k
Someday if we move up we can build an outdoor but a 30k seat indoor will cost 750 million. Voters wont approve that and it woupd take a full 1 cent tax, lodging and private money. And then the dome still needs upgrades and convention space

Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month
The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!
