Of course a bunch of those yards and two TD's were on our reserves.

Did we beat the spread or did that shoestring tackle at the end ruin it.
It's OK to not be OK.
Their running back is one of the best that I've seen in a while. Nearly impossible to catch in the open field... and extremely difficult to bring down. Freakish athlete.
If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.
Offense.
A. Great balance. Cam was efficient as heck. The offense had the ball for most of the 3rd quarter
Defense. C-
We gave up 120 yards on 2 huge runs. That was vs our starters. If it wasnt for the kind of lucky Mostart pick 6 and an offense that kept the D off the field it could have been ugly. The backups in the 4th were pretty bad at times

1. Cam Miller was fantastic. His accuracy the last two games has been incredibly impressive.
2. Roehl called a much better game, and like many have mentioned, didn't try to run QB draws and power non-stop.
3. Payton had his best game throwing the ball, but I don't think he was near Cam's level. The completion to Mathis didn't have any zip and it juuuuuuust got there in time. That being said, he had a few completions that we don't usually see and they had him throwing a little further down field, which was nice to see.
4. Tackling was awful all day today and won't get it done vs SDSU. I thought Wlodarczyk had a really rough game. He stands out because of his hair, and he had a bunch of missed tackles.
5. Sheppard wasn't great today. He hasn't played a lot at the NCAA level, so hopefully he continues to improve, because we don't look deep at corner.
6. Interior DL concerns me. Seems like team are running through them much easier than past Bison teams.
7. I really liked how Dylan Hendricks is coming along. He did really well rushing the passer today.
8. Eli Green looks legit. He and Mathis offer a really good 1-2 punch. I'm hoping to see Hagerle and Lance work in more
Kudos to Roehl calling the best game he's called in a long time. Balanced attack and everyone was involved. Cam was great. Defense got knocked down a notch today.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.Bob Lutz, The Wichita Eagle, August 30th, 2013
