It is definitely a solid line-up this year. In my mind, we can't be far from having all 10 guys in the top #33. Sax is obviously already there in at least one other poll. Hopefully Negrete will be available in the upcoming duals, because he should have a lot of matches with guys toward the end of the rankings. I think Mac is close too, but his remaining schedule doesn't give him too many chances to move up in the regular season.

Agreed. With a little luck they just might get all ten in the top 33.

Does anyone have any way to get an update on Negrete?? I know it’s all about the Big 12 and National tournaments but it Would really hurt the rest of the dual season if he misses any matches.

1st coaches poll was released today. Bison getting some love. Dylan #22 , march #17, franek #2, caliendo #8, sax #30, parker #29, pentz #11, and mora #26.

All seem pretty fair. Had Negrete not gotten hurt at the Scuffle, he had a chance to get in. He has a win over #21 and could've garnered some attention with a placing.

We have a bunch of borderline guys and for us to advance as many as possible to NCAAs, we want the B12 to do well at the weights we have fringe guys. Here are the total #of B12 guys at each weight:
125- 7
133- 6
141- 8
149- 7
157- 10
165- 9
174- 9
184- 8
197- 6
HWT- 9

125, 133, 174, 184, and HWT are the weights we should really root for the B12 ranked guys to continue to win so the B12 can rack up AQ spots. I feel pretty good about 141-165 and 197.

I wasn’t aware that the coaches poll allowed ties in its rankings. Caliendo is tied at #8 with Peyton Hall of West Virginia and Patrick Kennedy of Iowa. It lists them in order of Hall, Caliendo and Kennedy. Do they all get the points for #8 or in this scenario would Mikey get points for #9?
