A team playing for the national championship. With at least 5 starters out and another 5 regulars injured or gone. Shelves being bare might be the most preposterous statement yet.

Turns out that we had 3 yards of passing vs Northern Michigan in the 1977 Quarterfinals - and a couple pretty low passing totals. In 1988, NDSU had 164 yards passing total in the four games they won to win the championship - Cam passed for more than that last Friday.
i think Simdorn was 2-4 in the championship game for like 120 yards.

The "confirmed" no fumble call was I think correct as it looked like we recovered it cleanly before the UIW player pulled it away well after the play was over. Thanks to the UIW coach for his silly 4th down calls.
Targeting was a question of "taking aim" abs forcible contact. Every angle showed he lowered and hit with the crown. But was there a launch or crouch? That's what replay was looking at and they felt it wasn't. I think you could make an argument either way.

Looked it up. Between Simdorn and Brian Owen they were 2-4 for 26 yards.

I meant passing wise. During big games he has struggled but so has roehls play calling.

Can’t we ever slip a back out of the backfield for an easy pass for Cam when they are brining pressure. Sdsu does it to us all the time.

I switched into my NDSU sweats at halftime and we got a quick score. Turned into a battle and went back to just (lucky NDSU shirt) scored immediately and defense held. Bison Win, you’re welcome!!!!

Yeah, it's crazy how few attempts NDSU had back then - but they usually had 10+ yards per catch so we had that going for us.

Against Cal Poly SLO, Simdorn was 1-4 in gale force winds for 11 yards.
