Really disgusting display on NFL network after the game last night. Some anchor whose name I didn't commit to memory was saying that this is proof that Heincken should have been starting all season.

You know, because he lost last week and then put up a 200 yard game with 0 td and a pick. Definitely more valuable than Carson.

But it just shows the piranha feeding fenzy that the fake news media can get into. When it becomes profitable to hate on someone they go all in at every turn.

Aikman and Buck were saying at the end of game that the Commanders are better with Heinekie, without considering what else has changed over the last several weeks. They've had a lot of guys return from injury, are running the ball well, defense is playing well etc. I'm sure some a-hole on here will accuse me of making excuses - whatever - fact is, Washington is a lot different than they were 4 weeks ago and not because of the QB.
The white jerseys are the best. Don't even bother to argue.

    it was pathetic

Heineke without that Vikings/ref trip has 97 yards in a NFL game!!

Wentz should be awarded the ball TODAY and he will get 1-7 Houston Sunday and look great

Yes, but they are 3-1 with him and just beat a team that they got crushed by with Wentz at QB. Also, it just seems like the other players on the team are more behind Heineke. If you listen to how these guys talked about Wentz compared to how they talk about Heineke, it's pretty clear who they want to be the starter and Rivera is a player's coach. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Rivera came out and said that Heineke is the starter or Wentz's finger isn't ready yet so it will be Heineke next week.

I agree...at this point, it has more to do with locker room attitude than with anything else, and Heineke clearly has the edge in that....

In Rivera's presser today when asked who would be starting his reply was, first we need to see if the doctor's will clear Wentz and see how he practices and then will sit down and talk to the coaches, the QBs and then the team. Really didn't sound like if Carson is healthy then he's for sure the starter.

Seems he has an uncanny ability to alienate entire locker rooms.

Winning changes everything apparently. Not one Commanders player has said anything negative about Wentz. Heinicke is getting tons of credit for the win yesterday, but he almost blew that game with another stupid throw into double coverage. He has had an insane amount of luck and will regress back to the mean. If the defense hadn’t stepped up and the Eagles hadn’t repeatedly shot their own feet, then the entire narrative would have changed even if Heinicke played the exact same game. I’m amazed at how wins are only a QB stat. It is just mind-boggling. If the coaches feel like Heinicke is better for the team due to increased mobility, then fine, but if this is an overreaction to the media, then Wentz has had the most snake-bitten career ever.
